Lighting up the Dark in P1 and P2

P1 and P2 have been very busy learning about Light and Dark in our World Around Us topic.  We have been exploring where to find the darkest places and have been investigating how to shut out all the sources of light. The darkest place we could discover was Mrs Marron's store.  We brought in our own light up toys from home and used these to see in the really dark places we made or discovered.  It was very exciting and great fun.  We have just completed our 'Light Up the Dark' display, where we got to make our own 3D houses, which ties in very nicely with our Maths Topic. We have included a picture of our display and indeed a few other photographs of us hard at work!!
