Paddy Donnelly Visit - A very exciting Author AND Illustrator in St.Anne’s 🦋🐴🦕🐢🌎🚲

Thanks to the PTA, all the children in St.Anne’s were in for a real treat today🤗! We welcomed the very talented Paddy Donnelly to our school and both the children and staff were blown away by his talented writing and amazing illustrations.

The kids not only got a chance to listen to the stories, read by the author himself, but also got to complete a variety of activities to include drawing and writing tips which will be invaluable.

The children's imaginations were going wild during the powerpoint of our beautiful local area! We all learned a vast amount today about animals and our local geography gems - the teachers included!

Primary 3 and 4 were super excited with Paddy's love for animals, as our topic at the minute is Birds, Bugs and Beasts, which were the main feature in all of Paddy's books! 🦋🐴🦕🐢

We know the children will thoroughly enjoy their purchases for years to come.

Again a huge thank you to the PTA for allowing terrific treats like this happen :D
