Well done to our camogie skills team who were the overall champions in the Allianz/Cumann na mBunscol North Antrim Skills Championships held today in Oisins GAC Glenariffe. Our hurlers did very well also, missing out by a few points to St Patrick's and St Brigid's Ballycastle.
We are so proud of all our players but the girls were magnificent at all skill stations and showed how being the best you can be individually helps the whole team. There was stiff competition all day between the 13 competing schools but a friendly, supportive atmosphere was evident at all times.
Many thanks to Mr Dinsmore, principal of St Patrick's Glenariffe for organising and running the event so smoothly, to Oisin's GAC for the use of their fine facilities, to Rory McCloskey, Rory McClements Jack McCloskey, Ben McGarry and Finn Henry from Loughgiel Shamrocks and to Conor and Grace Duffin from Con Magees Glenravel for leading the children through all the skill stations.
