Our school hurlers were over the moon to get back to school competitions again today after a two year lay off! 14 schools were taking part and the standard of hurling was impressive.
Our lads were outstanding all day, playing 7 matches and winning 4 including the plate semi final. Unfortunately St Ciaran's got the rub of the green in the final to take the plate back to Cushendun.
The lads were brilliant all day and a pleasure to take down to Cushendall. Thank you to Mrs Donnelly and Mrs Bailey for coordinating the event, to Gaelfast for their support and to Ruairi Og for making their pitches and clubrooms available.
