Making Fruit Compote with Bernie
On Wednesday our P7s had a special treat- making fruit compote with the plums and apples they harvested from our own trees! After the compote was made it had to be sampled- and it was delicious with ice-cream! We will now use the experience as the basis of our Junior Entrepreneur Project and hopefully make some money in the process!! Watch this space for details on how to get hold of a pot for yourself.
Many thanks to Bernie Connolly (again!!) for all the hard work preparing and helping the children make a delicious product. Thanks also to Joanne Casey for picking the blackberries which gave our Corkey Compote that extra zing!
