Maths Week in P5/6

For Maths Week 2024 we did several activities. 
We did an activity ‘The answer is 12, what is the question?’ 
the pupils really enjoyed this and worked hard to come up with lots of different ways to make 12. We made posters for our working wall. 
Then we did an activity called ‘Really-only one minute?’ 
We had to try to guess when 1 minute was up. Some of us found this very difficult! We divided into groups and picked an activity each and chose a timekeeper for each group. We tried to do the activity and stop as close to 30seconds as we could. 
We had great fun and put our thinking and problem solving skills to the test!
