Baking, Mud Painting and so much more...!
Thank you to Jamie in P1 who has been in touch to share some of his home learning experiences this week!
In play this week we were exploring how to use nature, in particular mud, to enhance our play opportunities. Jamie took advantage of this beautiful weather and took his art lessons outside, exploring with some ‘mud painting.’ Jamie’s mud painting is captured in the attached video. You’ll even see a spider, mesmerised, watching Jamie paint with mud… he looks like a friendly spider too π
Jamie has also continued with his sports day practice and has become quite the expert at welly tossing π He is also pictured here engaging in his number work. I think you have mastered ordinal number Jamie π
Inspired by our story of ‘The Little Red Hen’ yesterday, Jamie also helped his mum with some baking. Your buns look very tasty indeed Jamie π Well done for helping your mum to bake so you could ALL enjoy eating the buns at the end! The Little Red Hen would be very proud of you π
What a busy, constructive and fun-filled week you had!
Excellent work – thank you!
