P 5/6 Fresh Little Minds

Eilish & Aishling from Fresh Little Minds came to Corkey today to start a 6 week workshop. We learned some songs, danced, had lots of discussions and we even got to meet Amber the puppy. We learned that the ‘A’ in Amber stands for ‘Anchor’. An anchor is someone who makes you feel secure & safe. The pupils had to think about the anchors in their lives and we got some lovely answers. We ended the session today with some relaxation, wrapped up in cosy blankets. 

We are all really looking forward to Week 2.
