P1&2 PE with Woody ⚾️

P1 and 2 have really enjoyed their first two PE sessions with Woody from Gaelfast! Last week we were working on spatial awareness and some fundamental movement skills. This week we continued to work on spatial awareness, played a really fun Rivers and Bridges game which helped develop our core strength and finished off with some hurling. We were trying to put our helmets on, then we learned about the ready position and the proper way to hold our stick. We worked on dribbling the ball and finished off with a really fun game 😀 We are really enjoying these PE sessions and are looking forward to the next couple of weeks 😊
