P3 and P4 are Safe and Sound

One of our topics this term was Safe and Sound. We learned about animals and how they use camouflage to stay safe. Our main focus was how we can stay safe when we are out walking or near roads. 

We learned that it is important to wear light, bright fluorescent clothing during the day and bright and reflective clothing if we are out walking at night. There are lots of examples on our PTA Facebook page of our children wearing their hi vis vests to Be Safe and Be Seen as they look for the Coloured Stones hidden around our community.

We also learned about people who help us and what jobs they do to keep us safe. During our topic work we got to do some art which we put on display in the main foyer to give the rest of our school tips on how they can also be Safe and Sound.
