Safer Internet Day 2020
To celebrate Safer Internet Day, all the pupils at St. Anne’s took part in different activities in their classrooms and we were also treated to an assembly by P5 & 6.
The focus of Safer Internet Day this year is to encourage young people to explore how they manage their online identity and how they can use the Internet safely.
The pupils from P1 up to P7 enjoyed taking part in lots of discussions about the Internet today. P1&2 were treated to the story of Digiduck. P3/4 enjoyed a PowerPoint on how to be safe online & they made posters about their identity. P5 & 6 took part in activities such as ‘Online Choices Compasses’ and ‘The Equality Thermometer’ and P7 played a ‘web connections’ game, took part in a walking debate about being online and completed a Freetobe poster.
Our pupils really enjoyed all the activities and learned a lot about how to keep their identity safe online.
