Shared Education with Knockahollet P.S.

Our shared PE lessons with P1 and P2 from Knockahollet P.S. got off to a flying start today with Eoin Gribben, from the Ulster Council GAA.  Eoin has been working with the pupils of St. Anne's, since September, in the development of their Fundamental Movement Skills.  Knockahollet have recently come on board to benefit from these excellent lessons, and will join us in our Sports Hall over the next six weeks.  The focus of these lessons will be Athletics, which will lead us nicely into the development of core movement skills, in preparation for Sports Day and a shared Fun Sports Day.  The shared Fun Sports Day will be held in Knockahollet Primary School during Term 3 and will involve all Foundation stage and Key Stage 1 pupils.  All the pupils are enthused and excited about their joint PE lessons with their new friends from Knockahollet, and they are very much looking forward to their shared Fun Day Finale in the Summer Term!!
