Spring has Sprung for Welly Wednesday!!
As this morning had a definite hint of spring in the air P1 and P2 decided to go for a lovely fresh spring walk. We split into small groups and used the iPads to capture all the new signs of spring we spotted. The birds sang and the sun shone as we explored, observed and recorded the changes in our outdoor environment. We saw shoots of daffodils in our Field of Hope, buds on the trees, nests in the trees, lambs in the fields and watched the birds (recently returned from sunnier climates) busily go about building their nests! Even though it is still early in Spring we even spotted a few daffodils and crocuses already in flower. We can’t wait to see how our environment continues to change and bloom in the coming weeks of Spring. We hope you enjoy browsing through our photographs which captures some of our observations. We will be using the photographs we took in our groups to create a beautiful Pic Collage during our ICT tasks.
We also got a chance to try out two new kites which were brought in by Shea and Elisha this week. Once again, we were super impressed by the design, performance and quality of these home-made kites ๐
