Welly Wednesday in P1/2 😃

We managed to miss the showers today in our Welly Wednesday. Not only did we have great fun playing outside but we also managed to consolidate our maths and literacy concepts. P1 matched numerals to sets in the water tray, traced over their first sound ‘s’ with wood chip and enjoyed making lots of marks with chalk 😀 P2 gathered up leaves of different shape , size and colour and sorted them into groups. They also revised how to write their letters and numerals using chalk. All of this and plenty of time to also enjoy out outdoor climbing equipment.
