Welly Wednesday!

Thumbs up for ‘Welly Wednesday’! We launched ‘Welly Wednesday’ in P1 and P2 this week and what a success it was! P1 and P2 pupils, teachers and classroom assistants will be bringing their Welly boots every Wednesday for the rest of term so we can get outside more. Our ‘Welly Wednesday’ campaign is in response to the extensive research which is proving that being outside helps children reach crucial developmental milestones. These milestones include their physical development, thinking skills, social/emotional development and their communication skills. Learning and playing in the outdoors also supports and builds upon all our important work in promoting Mindfulness within our school, to ensure we have healthy and happy children.
