Literacy

PHONICS: 

Continue Jolly Phonic Games throughout the week to reinforce first set of sounds covered to date

Reading:

Reading Book – We are beginning the P1 Ginn reading scheme today.  The first word your child will learn to read is ‘look’.   Go through the book looking at the pictures to help tell the story.  Find the word ‘look’ on each page and read it. 

Numeracy

NUMBER 5 - We are working on number 5 this week. Practise writing number 5 and counting out 5 objects. See maths w/s in bag

CUISENAIRE RODS – Train game
