Grow in Love

Please complete pg.27 in Grow in Love Book, ‘How did Mary and Joseph feel when they found Jesus?’ If you didn’t get pg. 26 finished in school today, please complete tonight.

Reading Eggs/ Maths Seeds

Please try to complete activity set for tomorrow

P1 should now have access to their MathSeeds accounts, the user details are the same as Reading Eggs. I have allocated some 3D Shape activities on MathSeeds. Try to give them a go 😊

MENTAL MATHS

Guess the number (An activity to develop maths language).

Pupils use number cards with 0 – 10 written on them sent home previously - or make your own number cards.

Activity:  Ask your child to place the cards face up in order from left to right.  Ask them for the following to help them understand the language you are using:

a number less than 5

a number bigger than 4

a number more than 6

the number before 8…..

the number after 3

the number between 3 and 5

a number between 3 and 7

Reverse roles and let them ask you to pick up different numbers.

CUISENAIRE RODS – Continue to play Train Game to continue to reinforce rod values.
