Literacy

SPELLINGS – Ensure Spelling worksheets for week 12 are complete and learn spellings from WEEK 12.  Please do not move onto worksheets for week 13.

READING – See reading record to check for any new reading tonight and read Library book

JOLLY PHONICS – We have now covered all 42 Jolly Phonics sounds.  Please use the attached Jolly Phonics Table to practise saying and writing the sounds.  Can you say the letter NAME as well as the SOUND?

Mental Maths

 THROUGHOUT THE WEEK ASK CHILDREN TO QUICKLY RECALL MENTAL MATHS FACTS OF ADDING ON 0,1, 2, 3 WITHIN 10 AND DOUBLING.  Eg: Ask – what is 3+3, 2 plus 3, double 5, 7 and 3 more etc.

MATHS SEEDS: A new lesson Addition to 10 has been allocated

READING EGGS: A new lesson has been allocated for you part of which focuses on the tricky word 'they'
