PRACTICAL MATHS - Today we started building Walls of 5 and 6 using our Cuisenaire Rods. Refer to the attached document showing a breakdown lesson of how we used rods today to teach number facts for number 5 and 6 using Cuisenaire Rods called ‘Maths Making Number Walls.’

Your child needs to be very secure in the number ‘BEFORE’ within 10 for today’s attached ‘wall of number’ activity so ask for the number ‘before’ 6 / 8 / 9 / 4 etc (within 10)

 ICT MATHS – Keep practising ‘Hit the Button’ to help consolidate addition facts to 10 - https://www.topmarks.co.uk/maths-games/hit-the-button Select ‘Number Bonds’ then select from the ‘Up to 10’ box and click ‘addition within 10’ to get addition sums within 10.
