SPELLINGS – Ensure Spelling worksheets for week 13 are complete and learn spellings from WEEK 13.  Please do not move onto worksheets for week 14.

READING – See reading record to check for any new reading tonight and read Library book

JOLLY PHONICS – We have now covered all 42 Jolly Phonics sounds.  Please use the attached Jolly Phonics Table to practise saying and writing the sounds.  Can you say the letter NAME as well as the SOUND?

MENTAL MATHS – Your child needs to be very secure in the number ‘BEFORE’ within 10 for today’s attached ‘wall of number’ activity so ask for the number ‘before’ 6 / 8 / 9 / 4 etc (within 10)

REMINDERS

SAFER INTERNET DAY Today we celebrated Safer Internet Day – we read some stories and talked about the things we can use the internet for. We also talked about how sometimes there can be things on the internet that aren’t safe and how we should always ask someone we trust for help, if something goes wrong. I have shared a story ‘Hanni and the Magic Window’ that you could read together which highlights the importance of asking for help straight away if something goes wrong when we’re online.
